Upon training and beginning our careers in aesthetics, we have discovered many problems in the aesthetics industry as we know it.
We have found that there is a lack of regulation. Unlicensed practitioners are still widely performing aesthetic treatments without adequate training.
We have also found that many practitioners do not have the patient's best interests at heart. Bigger companies do not see patients as individuals and may proceed with treatment even if it isn’t optimal.
Product quality is often overlooked. Many products without clinical research to back them up are available on the market.
Additionally, we have found many practitioners overtreat. For example, trends such as Russian lips or overfilled cheeks .
